How did we as Anabaptist people go from being persecuted refugees, and pilgrims and strangers on the earth, to being in the top 10% of the world’s most wealthy people? What does God, our Heavenly Father, have to say about our wealth, how it should be used, and what effect it could have on us as a people?
Merle Burkholder has over 30 years of mission leadership experience in Canada. He serves with Missions Interest Committee as assistant pastor in the Believers Fellowship Church in Sioux Lookout, ON. Merle is the board chairman for the Institute for Global Opportunities in Chiang Mai, Thailand, and also serves as the chairman of the Anabaptist Foundation Open Hands Fund Committee, which provides Christ-centered economic development opportunities for the poor in third-world countries.
