The Bible and Business Operations Part 1

Does God give guidance for believers trying to conduct business operations in our complex, modern economy? The answer is a resounding “Yes!”

In the beginning God gave us the skills and abilities we need for productive work. He assigned us stewardship of His creation and commanded us to use the earth’s resources to flourish and multiply. This means we are suited to engage in business operations.

Leaders must organize both their people and their work systems to:

• Minimize the negative effects of the curse.

• Maximize the God-given creative and productive abilities of people.

• Enable operations to succeed in a competitive and rapidly changing marketplace.
